Sunny KSQ No expansion without a plan
A resident-led campaign · Kennett Township, PA

No municipal expansion without a strategic plan.

A ~$10M police facility is heading toward construction bids and borrowing — and the first of several possible tax increases is already in effect, with more expected. Before any irreversible step, we're asking the Board of Supervisors to adopt and publish a clear, public, data-driven strategic plan.

The petition is the clearest signal residents can send. Then reinforce it in public session: budget, design, and contract decisions are voted on at Board meetings, and public comment happens before the vote.

The resolution we're asking for

Five things to publish before final approval

We're not asking the Township to ignore facility needs. We're asking the Board to adopt a Police Facility Transparency and Strategic Plan Resolution directing the Township Manager to publish these five items before authorizing construction bids, borrowing, or any other irreversible phase.

What we stand for

The demand, plainly stated

Pause the police building project until Kennett Township adopts a public strategic plan and right-sizing resolution. We're not against meeting facility needs — we're against final approval before residents can see the need, cost, alternatives, and long-term impact.
